Orders locked, what's next?

Good morning, space squad!

I just hit the big red button to lock orders & closed the pre-order store. Everyone has a couple of days to make any changes to addresses or payment info, and then I'll be charging cards so we can start ordering the add-on goodies! (As yet another reminder, shipping costs will be charged in a few months, when we're actually leading up to fulfillment!)

If you need to change your address at any point between now and fulfillment, message us here or e-mail us at [email protected]!

We'll be going into layout soon, and I'm super stoked for what Jam's got cookin' for these books. In the meantime, I've been hard at work making new art and adding new stuff to the Station Guide for y'all to dig into later this year. As a teaser, check out these little weirdos :

Moving forward, I'll be posting updates once a month, at the start/end of the month, unless I have an important update. This is to keep these updates easy to stay on top of, as well as to avoid flooding y'all's inboxes with non-updates.

Just a quick update to remind everyone to submit their Backerkit survey, or to reach out if you haven't received it! Things are closing & locking at the end of the month, and make-a-monster tier has a hard wrap date at the same time (meaning if you don't fill out your survey, we won't get to make your monster!)

Surveys going out! Deadline May 31st!

Hey, space squad! Nevyn here.

We're hitting the big "send" button on all the surveys, woo! You should have your surveys within a few days- if you don't receive an e-mail from Backerkit by Monday, reach out to us via e-mail to lest us know and we'll help out.

Add-ons & surveys close on May 31st.

To allow us to place product order ASAP, the add-on store will close on the 31st. You'll be able to fill out and make changes to your surveys until then, but after that responses will be locked and if an address change needs to be made you'll have to reach out to us to help facilitate it.

Shipping being charged later

Due to the fluctuating price of shipping around the world, we will be adding shipping costs & charging later, when it's actually time to fulfill orders. This means you will be charged on two separate occasions: once when we close the store, and then again later this year when it's time to ship orders out. We'll be sure to provide plenty of communication leading up to both, so don't worry! :)

First surveys going out, + shipping information!

Hey there, space squad! Nevyn here with two things today:

First surveys

The "smoke test" of surveys is being sent out! Not everyone will receive one in this round, but keep an eye out! If you have any problems, reach out to us. This will help us make sure everything's working before we send the rest out.

Shipping- charging later!

Just want to take this change to say again that shipping will be charged later. Due to constantly-fluctuating shipping costs, we will not be charging anyone for shipping until we are beginning fulfillment in a few months. 

Everyone will have 1 month from the full survey launch to fill out their surveys and purchase any additional addons. After that, we will charge for the add-ons and then, when we're fulfilling orders, we will charge for shipping.

I understand that this may be a new method for some, but this will prevent you all from having to over-pay on shipping as well as protect us from under-charging on it, should it fluctuate too much.
