Just a quick update!
We've kicked off the setup review process on Backerkit, so in a few business days we should be able to start sending out surveys.
Surveys will be sent out via Backerkit, starting with a small group first (a "smoke test" to make sure nothing's broken), and then to everyone shortly after that. I'll post again when we kick off the smoke test, and then one more time when the rest of the surveys go out.
The backerkit add-on store will be open for about a month, and then we'll be closing it so we can start production on all the physical goodies!

Incoming Transmission: CROWDFUND COMPLETE

The campaign's done! We did it!
Hey there, Space Squad! Nevyn here.
The crowdfunding campaign for You're In Space And Everything's Fucked just wrapped, and Jam and I are blown away by the hype and support we've gotten from everyone! We were excited when we funded, but words can't express how it feels to not only double your goal, but to exceed even that!
It's surreal and exciting, and it means so much to us- not just because we get to bring this game to life, but for what it means outside of the game itself. The business is funded for at least a couple of years, and we get to keep makin' really cool shit.
So, from both of us, thank you!
What's next?
Now we get to play a little bit of a waiting game. Kickstarter needs a couple of weeks to process the funds and send them to us, so in the meantime, we'll be taking a short break to recuperate from running this whole thing, and then we'll be hitting the ground running! Text will get finished, contributors will get paid, and once surveys are done we'll be placing our orders!
Surveys!
In a couple of weeks we'll be sending out Backerkit surveys to everyone who pledged. This will collect shipping info, as well as have some additional add-ons for those who want them. I know there were a few of you who wanted to get a PDF copy of You're In Space, but also pick up some of the physical add-ons, so this will be your chance to do that!
Surveys will be open until the end of May, and shipping will be charged closer to fulfillment.
At the end of May, responses will be locked & the pre-order/add-on store will be closed so we can finalize our order counts.
I know it's a little weird to charge later like this, but due to the constant fluctuating of shipping costs this will not only make sure nobody's paying too much, it'll also keep us from going into the red when we send rewards out.
Future updates?
Moving forward, progress updates will come through once a month, unless something special is happening. I'll typically post on either the last or first day of every month, even if it's just a simple "smooth sailing" update.
Doing it this way helps make sure most updates will actually be worthwhile, keeps your inbox un-flooded, and keeps me from stressing about writing weekly updates- which can take a lot of time to do, even if it's a simple "no updates" post.
That said, if you want some smaller, more-frequent updates & discussions, you should join our discord!

Incoming Transmission: You're In Space And Everything's Funded!!

Hot dang, y'all! We did it!
Thanks to everyone's support, we unlocked the last stretch goal, which means everything's funded!
This is so exciting for us, I know I can't wait to get to work on this after the campaign and get this fantastic, fleshy nightmare game into your hands.
Now, just because we're done funding, doesn't mean the project's complete! There's still 18 days left in the campaign, and every bit we raise over these stretch goals is gonna help make You're In Space that much better, and let Dinoberry Press carry on through the next year, so keep on tellin' your friends!
Also, we're down to less than half of the Limited Editions available (36 left!), and they're goin' quick, so don't miss out!

Wow! We just crossed the $30k mark, which means the expansion zine Found Transmissions gets to happen!
Later this year, the expansion will be released digitally for everyone at a "pay what you want" price on my Itch page, and we'll have print versions available for purchase as well~
Now we've got 3 more stretch goals, each for additional content to go into the zine! First up, at $32k, is Meatcastle's "Prepare For Write-off", a corporate horror scenario about tax loopholes at a theme park!

Good morning, Strugglers! Nevyn here.
It's so awesome to wake up and see that we've crossed that first finish line and funded! This means You're In Space And Everything's Fucked gets to become a reality, hell yeah! But that's not the end of the line yet: we've got all those exciting stretch goals to reach, with the first being the Found Transmissions expansion zine to release later this year. Once we hit $30k, that'll be unlocked, so tell your friends!
In the meantime, today around 2pm Central/3pm Eastern I'll be back with The Cult on Plus One EXP to talk shop & game design for a bit. Be there or be square!
